Gas hoobs should be washed with a soft cloth with glass cleaner (in the case of a glass cooktop) or liquid for greasy dirt in the case of an enamel cooktop or dirt that is more difficult to clean.
Ceramic and induction hoobs should be cleaned with mild detergent and a soft cloth. Here we have an easier task by using a uniform, smooth surface.
